Do Pets Have a Soul and Do They Go to Heaven?

- Sin and redemption are centered in man: “By one man sin entered into the world” (Romans 5:12). Jesus came to save sinners—not animals.
- Still, God cares for animals: “You preserve man and beast” (Psalm 36:6), and not one sparrow is forgotten before God (Luke 12:6).

- Christ became a man to redeem men. Animals didn’t fall into sin as moral beings; they share the effects of the curse and will share the blessing of the restored creation.
- So your specific pet is not promised a resurrection like a believer, but can be there on account of your desire. Animals as a part of creation will be present in the renewed earth under Christ’s rule.
