No. “Time shall be no more” in Revelation 10:6 does not mean mercy was over. It means there will be no more delay to finish God’s mystery.
Scriptural Explanation
- Revelation 10:6–7: The Mighty Angel swears there should be time no longer, “but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel… the mystery of God should be finished.” Notice, the oath points to the finishing of the mystery, not the ending of mercy at that moment.
- As long as Christ is our High Priest, mercy is available (Hebrews 7:25; 9:12, 24). The call of grace continues until the last member of the Bride is gathered and sealed (Ephesians 4:30), and then the door shuts (Matthew 25:10).
- After the Bride is complete and caught up, God turns to Israel under the two witnesses (Revelation 11:3–7), and the 144,000 are sealed (Revelation 7:3–8; Romans 11:25–27). That shows God’s redemptive dealings still continue according to His plan, even as judgment begins to fall on the nations.
- The open Book in Revelation 10 is tied to the finishing of the mystery that gathers and perfects the Bride shown in Revelation 7:9–17 and reigning in Revelation 20:4.
Simple Clarifying Logic
- If “time no more” meant mercy instantly ended, then who would call and seal the 144,000 in Revelation 7 and 11? Why would Scripture still show God saving according to His covenant with Israel (Romans 11:26–27)?
- The oath is God’s declaration: no more delay. The mystery will be finished, the Bride will be fully called, and then the door closes for the Gentiles and judgment strikes. Mercy does not end until the last predestinated member of the Bride is in.
Conclusion
“Time no more” announces no further delay to finish the mystery, not the immediate end of mercy. Mercy continues until the Bride is completed and taken; after that the door shuts for the Gentiles, and God deals with Israel while judgments fall.
