What If There Is No Sound Church Near Me?

If there’s no sound church near you, don’t sit under error just to “be in a church.” Stay with the Word. Gather in your home with two or three of like faith, pray, read the Scriptures, worship, and wait on God to open a door. If you can travel to a sound fellowship at times, do it. Better to be a small, clean fellowship around the Word than a large, mixed multitude in unbelief.

- The Bible says, “Forsake not the assembling of ourselves together” (Hebrews 10:25). Now notice, Jesus also said, “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). Two or three in His Name is still church.

- If the food in a place is poisoned, you don’t eat there just because it’s a “restaurant.” You wait, or you prepare food at home that is clean. In the same way, a little leaven leavens the whole lump (Galatians 5:9). Protect your soul.
- Two or three with an open Bible, clean lives, and sincere prayer is better than a crowd without truth. God meets where His Name and His Word are honored.

If a home fellowship partakes, do it exactly as 1 Corinthians 11:23–34 instructs—reverently, with self-examination, using the elements in Scriptural simplicity, and without excess. - Live a clean, Spirit-filled life. Maintain a family altar. Keep yourself unspotted from the world (James 1:27).
