Why Do Some People Receive Miracles While Others Do Not?

Some people receive miracles because God, who is sovereign, confirms His Word in His own time where faith meets promise. Others do not because unbelief blocks the channel, sin and wrong motives hinder prayer, or God appoints a trial for a higher purpose and timing. Miracles are signs, not the seal. - God is one, and He acts as He wills. He uses miracles to vindicate His Word, draw hearts to Christ, and glorify His Name—not to entertain or prove favoritism.
- Faith is the hand that takes what grace provides; unbelief drops it. Where hearts receive the Word, miracles often follow. Where the Word is rejected, even Jesus did not do many mighty works.
- Clean hearts and right motives matter. Bitterness, disobedience, or asking for self can choke the promise.
- Sometimes God says “now,” sometimes “not yet,” and sometimes “My grace is sufficient,” because He is forming character and pointing us to the greater promise—the new body.
- If miracles were the proof of being right with God, Paul, Timothy, and Elisha would stand as contradictions. They don’t. They prove God governs both the miracle and the furnace.
