Can a True Believer Lose Their Salvation?

No. A true, born‑again believer cannot lose their salvation. A real child of God may stumble and be corrected, but the life that God puts in them is kept. Those who fully turn back and stay away only show they were never truly born again.

- The Bible says, “My sheep hear My voice… I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand… out of My Father’s hand” (John 10:27–29). That settles it—never perish.

- “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin… his seed remaineth in him” (1 John 3:9). The new birth plants a holy nature that won’t live in sin.
- “Whom the Lord loves He chastens” (Hebrews 12:6–8). Sons may be disciplined, but not disowned.
- The prodigal was always a son, even in the far country (Luke 15). Fellowship was broken; sonship remained.

- Eternal life is eternal. If you can lose it, it wasn’t eternal.

- “The gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29). God does not change His mind about His own.
