What Does the Bible Teach About Salvation?
1) Direct Answer
Salvation is the new birth. The Bible teaches that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that faith answers God’s call by repentance, water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. There is only one way to be saved, and that is through Jesus Christ and His finished work.

- Our need: All have sinned (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life (Romans 6:23). Without shedding of blood there is no remission (Hebrews 9:22).
