What If I Am Not One of the Elect?

Don’t stay under that fear. If you can hear the Word and feel a pull to come to Jesus Christ, that itself is the sign that you are one of the elect. Come to Him now. The one who comes, He will not cast out.
2) Scriptural Explanation
- “All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me; and him that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37). The elect come—and anyone who comes is received.
- “No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him” (John 6:44). That inward draw you feel is God calling.
- “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give unto them eternal life” (John 10:27-28). The sheep recognize His voice in the Word and follow.

- “Give diligence to make your calling and election sure” (2 Peter 1:10). You don’t guess at it—you step into it and confirm it by obeying the Word.
- The way is plain: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). Believe from the heart (Romans 10:9-13), be sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).

- The lost don’t worry about being elect; dead seed doesn’t feel the sun. If you’re concerned, that’s evidence the Spirit is dealing with you.
- Election never bars a seeking soul; it brings you in. The Bible never shows Jesus turning away a repentant, believing heart.
- If you can receive the Word and follow it, that proves what you are. The sheep hear His voice. So don’t argue with the knock—open the door.
- Ask yourself: Did Jesus ever tell a thirsty soul, “You might not be elect, stay away”? No. He said, “Come.”
