Who Had the Authority to Decide the Biblical Canon?

God alone. The authority to “decide” Scripture rests with the Author. He spoke His Word through His prophets and apostles, and the Holy Spirit vindicated it. Believers did not make it the Word; they recognized the Word God had already given.

- The foundation cannot be relaid; once God finished speaking through His commissioned witnesses, we do not add or subtract. That’s why there is a solemn warning at the end of Revelation.
